Spring Market at Lucketts Part 2

Hello Daniela and friends,
Do you remember the Antique Market that I went to last month? Well here are some more photos, as promised! At first glance you might think we are in Tuscany! But instead we are in Virginia at the Lucketts Spring Market. Today I will show you my friend Chad's booth. His business is called Tuscany Designs.

Vi ricordate il Mercato di antiquariato, che sono andata a visitare il mese scorso? Bene qui ci sono altre  foto, come promesso! A prima vista si potrebbe pensare che siamo in Toscana! Ma invece siamo in Virginia al  Lucketts Market di primavera. Oggi vi mostrerò lo stand del mio amico Chad. Il suo negozio si chiama Tuscany Designs .



Chad is well known for his gray/blue painted furniture. He often uses Burlap on his upholstered pieces.

Chad è noto per i suoi mobili dipinti grigio / blu. Egli usa spesso la  juta per i suoi pezzi imbottiti.

I love the shape of these old bottles!

More blue/gray paint. Chad uses a glaze over top of his paint to give an aged old world patina. If you saw the tour of my studio, you may remember my desk, which I purchased from Chad a couple of years ago.

Ancora vernice blu /  grigia. Chad usa una  finitura sulla sua pittura per dare una patina di età  che fa molto  vecchio mondo. Se avete visto il tour del mio studio, forse ricordate la mia scrivania, che ho acquistato da Chad un paio di anni fa.
